Introducing Glory O'Brien & St. Paul Read Brave in Pictures

I am on the run.
I have a half hour to write this and then I can totally go roller skating tomorrow.

READ BRAVE:
I didn't get a lot of pictures. But...
St. Paul was awesome. Avalon School was amazing. Students and faculty.
St. Paul Library was fantastic and there were many awesome librarians.
Addendum Bookstore is out of this world. Make sure you get there if you're in St. Paul.

Pictures.

My layover was in Hoth. There was a lot of deicing on the way out.
(Praise the O'Hare miracle!)

The Avalon ANTS wall. Can I repeat how great the students & faculty are here?

Lunch with the Avalon winners on Thursday.
Grooviest students ever.

THIS IS A BAG CONTAINING TWO
PAUL BUNYON AND BABE THE BLUE OX SNOW GLOBES.
You remember that story right?

THIS IS A DRAIN IN AN AIRPORT BATHROOM.
I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS DRAIN.
MSP Airport wins best bathroom ever.
Doors that open outward. Biggest stalls ever. Place to put luggage.
Hooks in the right place.
And drains like this.

And on the way into that BOSS bathroom, there's a
tile mosaic that's 8 x 10 feet. This is it. Tile mosaic, dude.
Best airport bathroom ever.
Did I mention the Dyson hand dryers?

That drain is so boss.
Matthew, if it's any consolation, that bathroom was the only one (well they were a set, men/women) I could find that was new. My hope is that they redo all airport bathrooms like that one. I was going to take a picture of the actual stall and the genius of it, but there were too many people around and they had to pee, so I couldn't ask them to wait so I could take a picture.

Also, I find the people of St. Paul to be some of the hippest on the planet. They have something extra going for them, but I can't put my finger on it. NYC and Philly people don't compare. Neither do London or Dublin people.
