A HUGE Bow of Gratitude

First to everyone who came out to see I AM AN EMOTIONAL CREATURE or THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES last weekend. Thanks to those of you who bought books from my books n' kisses table, I was able to donate $450 to V-Day. V-Day saves girls' lives. So, we just helped them. Rock on. And a huge ROCK IT to the cast and crew. Especially to the V-girls (and boys) who rocked so much, they made me cry. Twice.

Next, to Sonia Manzano--who you may know as Maria from Sesame Street--for talking up PLEASE IGNORE VERA DIETZ in the New York Post.

Also to Albright College and Kutztown University for inviting me to talk to their amazing students in the last two weeks. (And congrats to the ABA grads I talked to last night at KU. I am so glad you all appreciate when I get riled up about libraries. Because I get riled up about libraries a lot.)

COMING UP:

April 15th I will be at Hooray for Books in Alexandria, VA from 6:30-7:30PM. PLEASE come by and see me.

April 16th I will be speaking at The Bethesda Literary Festival at 2PM at the Bethesda Library.

And BONUS trip to a YALit class at Millersville University on April 19th! Woot! Can't wait. (Or for my other school visits this month, for that matter. Get ready for fun, Perkiomen School and Purnell!)

And I am especially looking forward to my favorite thing of all: SUMMER. Totally. Can't. Wait. Today is pool paint day. Soon, I will be here:

 More soon!
I PROMISE pictures from the Edgar Award ceremony.
