That was HARD.

More chainsawing fun.
First: Thank you all for entering and for spreading the word.
Next: Do you know how hard it is for us to judge these contests when you all submit such awesome work?

This contest was tough. All my judges quit. It was down to us because you're all so good that not even my cosmic hamster will help us out anymore. We narrowed it to ten finalists this morning. Then three. Now two.

The winners are:

Melissa with:

Talk to a chainsaw
What might he say, truth or lies?
Nothing but sharpness.

and Dreanda, with:

Before you know it,
Your chainsaw has sliced right through,
Oh how glorious!

Congratulations! I've sent emails to you both for mailing addresses.

Before I go, I have to send out a KUDOS to Carly at Carly Reads for her awesome entry. Carly, this made me laugh so much! You are completely awesome and I can't wait to see you in May!

Love the tiara
But I hope you also wore
Hearing protection.

(I am, after all, a future audiologist in training.)

And applause to our finalists: Dawn, Jenny (The Mimosa Stimulus), author, neonbooker (refrigerator made me lol), KayleeAyanaHofstetter, Michelle and Hanna.

More soon here on the blog. Stay tuned for an exciting announcement. Until then, I'm in the cave, writing books.

German friends! Get out next week and see if you can find the German VERA in stores! It's called Please don't hate me: Nichts ist wichtig, wenn man tot ist. Send me pictures!!
