Multiple Choice

A) It's been 21 years and I still can't come to terms with this picture. Who is that person? And what the hell is with the blouse? B) This is a picture of me during the most important summer of my life. C) This isn't really me. I chose a random picture from a yearbook I found in the library. D) All of the above. E) All of the above except C...and I guess D, now, too.

I think the lace AND the pearls might have been kinda overkill. But you look lovely - and you really nailed that 'I'm so not looking at you while you snap my lame yearbook photo' look.

I thank you all for your comments - even the sarcastic ones. I agree, Lenore, that mullets are underrated. I also agree, Emily, Joanne & Lisa, that the collar and pearls were probably overkill, but what do I know about dressing up? I wore, and still wear jeans every day.

Steph - your answer is correct! And your prize? I will tell you more about answer B. This was the summer between my junior and senior year. I worked at a summer camp as a junior counselor. It was the summer I met my husband, who was a mysterious exchange counselor from Ireland. So, let it be known that my husband fell in love with me while I had a mullet, which proves that love is about what's inside, people. :)

Siren - I scanned this picture weeks ago, but I just couldn't bring myself to post it. I appreciate your comment. I certainly could look worse.

Nice picture...I like your expression--kinda pensive. Thanks for sharing.

Oh yes, it could have been much worse. I have a yearbook photo that makes me look like a turtle. Not flattering.

CR - pensive = exactly what I was feeling at that moment.

And Liv - you've just made coffee go into my nose. One day, you must share the turtle picture.
